Dear Mr. West,

I like your latest album because it is acerbic and tender and has a well-crafted auditory texture. I like you because you always do what Kan wants, and Kan has good taste even when he's upset. I thought it was nice that at the end of your concert you reminded us that even though you spend hours dancing around unaccompanied in artistic asymmetrical hoodies on complicated tilted stage outer space sets singing and rapping about your own greatness, you are still a human being who is sad about his mother dying. And that dancing around in artistic asymmetrical hoodies on complicated tilted stage outer space sets singing and rapping about your own greatness might also seem kind of silly, but it's what you like doing. Thank you for just getting out there and making it happen. You're doing a wonderful job of being you.

Sincerely,

Caitlin

P.S. The very first time I saw you, you were shooting lasers balancing on one hand wearing a cardigan and high tops in a really excellent magazine I used to buy in Germany, and I thought you were cool.

omg my dear, your dresses are bootiful (extra booty mind you). glad to know we share the love for The Kanye. I saw him in concert last May and nearly teared up at spots. I was told his next tour is something along the lines of Kanye and the volcano - - cannot wait. Love Jane - his spaceship goodess divine. Especially love when he get's angry on this blog AND WRITE IN ALL CAPS. He is human, even when he is reiterating how he is the best artist in all the land.

miss you. seems so long ago sitting in Mr. Hartman's english class. xox

Word girl! Thanks for also appreciating the Kan in all his pomp and circumstance...and stilettos! I will make a confession to you right now: I found a sweet deal on Chie Mihara heels the other day...and due to recent successes in dress selling, I bought them. And they are on my feet right now as I sit in bed commenting on your comment. I must admit they are not exactly sex on a stick, but damn if they aren't the classiest shoes I've ever owned.

Glad you popped up!
