Whoa, whoa, whoa
Before we get too caught up in where I am and what I'm doing now (DRESSES! Say it rabidly with a lisp while pressing the palms of your hands together under your chin), let's not forget some rather formative years. Let's back it up to the Berlin days. Karen O was my hero, I had an asymmetrical bowl cut, and flashy unitards were all I wanted to wear. I actually threw together this beauty (made from some sort of heinous flea market women's skirt) for a dance performance in Stuttgart. Our costume was "wear what you feel comfortable in." As I side note: I realized shortly after moving back to Portland that I bounced to California when I was 18, following which essentially ALL of my experience as a non-student adult in the real world occurred in...Germany. It really shouldn't have been THAT difficult to adjust to a new (old?) setting upon my return to P-town, but gosh, in Deutschland I was actually trying. Here, I thought things would just, you know, "happen" because I'd arrived. This is where I'm from, right? Au contraire. In many ways, this is more of a challenge than just hopping a plane across the Atlantic and building my life from scratch. Here I'm supposed to be starting with something...

Are you selling your outfits or just showing off your hot bod in cute dresses?
Snaps to your blog sista! Love it and love, love, love the one-y! I am obsessed with one pieces. I happen to be sporting a full pants suit right now and feeling super sizzlin' hot! You should oh so go there if you haven't already. I'd love to see an obscene full length pantsuit by Caitlander. There is definitely a lot of potential in this idea. I can't wait to see more little dresses!
Love you Dahl!
Trevor just gave me bowl cut.
oh no! You forgot the d in Sehenswuerdigkeiten.
Jeannette: Ooh, a little of both, my Nettie pot! Mostly just a visual record of my borderline-obsessive sewing hobby. I must admit, however, that I'm thrilled by the comment portion and hope to elicit future discussions through postings :) In relation to this, I feel like my favorite humans are all scattered across the globe and I hope this will be a better way to keep in touch (despite/because of its voyeuristic nature) than my former methods. Gosh, I don't know if obscene pants-suit is in my immediate future, but in all honesty I never know. I'd sure love to see yours though! More shorts-onsies to come...
Leonard: YES. Picture immediately, please?
Konrad: Crap! Did you zoom in on that to check my Deutsch? The most excellent part is that such letter omission frequently occurs in my drawings, whichever language they may take place in. I think the amount of concentration involved with this kind of pen cancels logical thought as well as the proofreading reflex. Du bist als Korrekturleser fuer das Deutsche Teil angestellt.
